Speedwriting Songwriter Workshop with Shane Ó Fearghail
What is a song? A song is a creative piece of music made up of lyrics and melody. It usually tells a story or expresses emotion through lyric, music, verse and choruse. A song can take three minutes to sing. A song can also take two years to write. Sometimes, it takes just ten minutes. In just two hours, we will explore “the song”. It’s structure. It’s relevance, and who knows, it’s magic.

About Shane
Shane Ó Fearghail is an Irish singer-songwriter. With five albums released, Shane has had songs in movies, documentaries and performs his songs internationally. As well as being a professional co-writer Shane is a presents workshops all over Europe. He is also co-founder of the Vienna Songwriting Circle, The Songwriting Circle Dublin and the Schoenberg International Songwriting Festival, which takes place in Schönberg am Kamp 18. – 20. September.
